Throughout my childhood, I discovered plenty of websites that grabbed my imagination. Whether it was Runescape and its fan-sites, to Tamagotchi fan-sites, and more, I discovered several websites which I called home. Some of my absolute favorites being Mimitchi.com and Tamagotchi.de (previously known as TamagotchiFan.com before it got revamped). Around 2019, my dad showed me how to start creating a website with HTML and I took off. I started creating my own websites which have culminated into this one. I find this such a freeing medium where I can express myself through my words and art. I hope to share the magic that I experienced as a child with others.
David's Crossing is my little corner of the Internet, and you are all welcome to stay. It's a digital scrapbook where I can write journal entries, post pictures, discuss my hobbies, rave about Tamagotchis, and keep a history of my life. I built this website, and other websites from scratch, learning HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and more along the way. I hope to make this site a fun place for anyone who happens to stop by, young and old! I'm proud of this website and enjoy the freedom of expression. My name is David. I'm 27 years old and live in Texas. I graduated from college with a bachelors degree and have been working in the financial industry since.
I have a lovely girlfriend (fiance as of July 2023!) named Brittany who I live with. We bought our first home together in late 2020, so we are proud homeowners. We love each other like crazy and I'm happy to share my life with her. We have a cute cat named Sushi who we adopted sometime in 2019, she is adorable; we also have a dog named Anubis who we rescued in July 2021. I hope to share more about them in my journal posts.
I have several hobbies. I have played piano since I was 5 years old and I'm mostly self-taught. I love video games, namely Oldschool Runescape, Runescape 3, and WoW: Classic. I play some others like Rocket League, Minecraft, Animal Crossing, etc. I'm a complete nerd. I also LOVE Tamagotchis; so much, in fact, that I've dedicated an entire section of this website to them. For now, I'm exploring some new hobbies such as web design, database creation, Perler bead art, and even starting an Etsy shop!
Aside from my hobbies, I have a strong interest in finances, budgeting, investing, working out, playing music, and traveling. My goals in life are to reach financial freedom through my investments and experience the world through traveling.
